AZCARB UV Weatherable Polycarbonate sheet is produced via a proprietary process that creates an inherent protective UV barrier on the sheet’s surface. The result is reduced yellowing, improved haze resistance, and enhanced light transmission over time vs. a General-Purpose polycarbonate sheet. This sheet is ideal for the sign, vertical glazing, barrel vaults & skylight applications.

AZCARB RENEW UV2 Polycarbonate Sheet
AZCARB RENEW UV2 is the first truly closed-loop sustainable post-consumer extruded polycarbonate sheet. AZCARB RENEWUV2 is domestically manufactured in Gurnee, IL, utilizing the newest state-of-the-art extrusion technology in an ISO 8 certified clean room environment. Our in-line downstream optical scanning ensures the highest quality. Each production lot of AZCARB RENEW UV2 is tested to meet or exceed Virgin UV Capped Weatherable Sign Grade polycarbonate. Ideal applications include outdoor signage, formed skylights, and transit shelters. AZ Polymers, along with our sister company United Plastics, has a unique capability and the proprietary processes to efficiently coordinate the reclaiming of post-consumer and post-industrial polycarbonate feedstock, sort, identify, and document the appropriate stream, and certify for proprietary reprocessing into AZCARB RENEW UV2 Polycarbonate Sheet.
